I am excited about teaching Math Studies at ISF this year.
Here is a little information about me. I have taught Maths for 26 years, in the US, Italy, Portugal and now Hong Kong. Math Studies is probably my favourite course to teach because the maths tend to be more practical than theoretical and I find that more interesting. I also like working with students who may have decided that they are not interested in maths or that maths is not important to them, or that they are not good at maths. I know that everyone can get some enjoyment, satisfaction and use out of mathematics and I hope you will give me the opportunity to convice you of this.
I will use this blog to post homework assignments, answer questions and present requested solutions. I will be posting (and I ask that you post as well) maths notes on our wiki at: mathnotesinternational.pbworks.com
Please post a comment with your own brief biography so we can get to know each other better.
I am looking forward to a very successful year!
